November News

Our first holiday market was a BLOOMING success! It far exceeded any of our wildest expectations, and we cannot thank our community enough for your incredible support of our little farm.

Good news! Our bouquet subscriptions go on sale this week! Farmily members (all of you!) get early access using the code “farmily”.

This year, purchase of a bouquet subscription comes with a 10% discount on all 2026 season classes and workshops at the barn.

Our first two holiday wreath-making workshops are coming up:

December 6th from 10am-12pm

November on the farm means prepping our hoop houses for the winter. One of our biggest projects is digging up our dahlia tubers and storing them until spring. Dahlias are a beloved flower among florists, our community members and Fiona! We have close to 100 different varieties we grow and store individually. The Great Dahlia Dig is an epic event every year!

As the days get shorter, our farmer playlists are getting longer.

Paige is an avid listener of podcasts and has curated a short list of her current favorites to share with you:

The Preamble - This is a new podcast from the country’s favorite history teacher, Sharon McMahon. If you’re a nerd like Paige and Fiona, you’ll love her deep dives into obscure history, quick interviews and rapid-fire Q&A.

Throughline - another history podcast! This podcast ties history with the present and even makes constitutional amendments interesting! Paige recommends starting with the episode titled, “The Nostalgia Bone.”

Heavyweight - If you’re in need of a little humor mixed with life lessons, Johnathan Goldstein is your guy. This storytelling podcast looks behind the curtain on everyday people’s lives, most of them Johnathan’s personal friends.

Well there ya have it, folks. Another month in the books. Thank you for being part of our little farmily!

That’s all for now!
